That's a keeper ! What year did you take / teach that course ?
I must be a bit ancient due to the quip about that safety rope ! Notice the tree stands of choice ? Not a compound bow in the bunch.

I took the course about 1975/76
I think mine is identical except for PA instead of NY.
This is a reply to the posting I did on Facebook

There's some great memories in there. I still have mine too. Actually, most, if not all the ideas are still sound. Just the execution of them was primitive and awkward back then. Ex, how many guys DIDN'T fall out of a tree stand because of a simple rope tied to the tree? If even one, it was worth it.
I get mine out every couple of years and go through it again.
It looks as if a lot of recommendations were supplied by the bow company. I think if I had to retire every bow with a chip or flake in them.
It would however make bowyers happy to know I would have to buy 2 or 3 a year. ha
Oh and dont climb over fences with an arrow nocked, LOL.
NY. . yup, I remember using a rope (not 1/4" though) and tying it to the tree. Like all things, as we learn more, we make changes.
All those things, those "no-no's" I remember folks doing. many of them still to this day, unfortunately.
