I'd like to see any of your trad kill mounts that may be a little different; 3/4 or 1/2 body mounts, euro mounts with the arrow used, what ever you have. It's snowy and I'm bored!!
Last yes buck I fed to the beetles! Need to take a pic!!
Found this on fb

Thats really nice
WOW, I guess that's as unique as you get huh??!! I want to see some really cool mounts. I have some racks with skull plates from deer that I've taken with my Widow. I was thinking of using a cape from anther buck and do something different. Like maybe using a licking branch, or positioned sniffing the air with a lip curl or something like that. Lets see what you have!
I shot this deer in early October of this year. I just got him back and he's about as pretty a deer as I've seen. The dark antlers and double throat patch make him very special.

Graps, now that is too funny.
Now that's funny Graps...ain't nothin' meaner than a bucktoothed bunny!
Not EXACTLY What I was looking for, but funny none the less
The bear table reminds me of the Farside cartoon with the elephant complaining about his leg being turned into an umbrella stand :bigsmyl:
This is gonna be a fun thread... Sean, I like your half bear mount.
Hate the bear coffee table though...If I think it is bad, I cannot imagine what my wife would say.
Some of You guys have a warped sense of humour, very funny but you do have issues !

Great stuff Craig, really like the turkey mount.
Yeah, that turkey mount is cool!!!
This was my first traditional buck harvest. It was also with the first longbow I built so went for the 1/2 body mount.

Here you go Sean. You've seen these in person, but they are kind of unique.
People love to get their picture taken with their head in my 12' alligator's mouth.

Nice Terry, how'bout your bobcat??? And your gator "rug"??
This turned out really nice. It's a wall pedestal on an extended swivel mount... The back is really well finished too.

I'll bet the alligator coming out of the wall or Halloween candy in the gators mouth has given more than one person nightmares!!
Great stuff guys.
And Craig that turkey mount is awesome!!
awesome trukey mount that my friend Greg Simmons did for me. (http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/johnnyk71/turkeymount_zps47f8e48e.jpg)
Cool stuff!!
Awesome stuff so far guys!
Best one ever seen Sean was a local Taxidermist had a 170' Whitetail mounted with the front legs and then the butt and rear legs mounted separate.
It was on a adjustable pedestal that you could slide it in and out. He would put it behind his TV or some plants. It was moved around the house a lot by Jim's wife.
bretto
That'd be a cool one to see a picture of Brett!!
Hey Kaz, I really like the folds the taxidermist used on the neck.
Fox squirrels like trad too

I'll snap a pic of him on the wall when I get home. Such a fun project. Turned out great

Yep Sean, I know your thread said "unique", but the main part of the mount that's unique is that it's wall pedestal on an extended swivel bracket. It can be rotated & swiveled away from the wall for any angle. The back cavity is finished in a bronzing swirl pattern that is pretty classy. If a guy ever wanted to make it a table pedestal, that would be possible. It also would work to rotate it into a corner or between studs. Pretty sweet. I wanted something special for "Rainbow"... Mission accomplished.
This is so close to my ideal man cave, I have visions of walking into the door and you have 2 buffalo standing upright arms crossed with gold chains (bouncers) the as you get inside you see a couple of whitetail playing darts and in the corner you have a mountain goat lying back in his chair with a banjo. The final scene will be 2 grizzlies sitting at the bar cracking jokes and one bent backwards with laughter.
Hey Kaz, That's just what I was asking for!!
That'd be pretty funny Scitty!!
Cool thread
No more???
I've got 4 on the wall for Michigan Taxidermy show and competition can't show pics yet !! Beaver , Badger, Bobcat and a feeding whitetail, pics soon
