Interested to see responses, as I just ordered a wood test kit and plan on fletching 1 and bare shaft one of each weight...
Either way, I'd say you're shooting good!!!

				Looks good to me....

Lookin' good now on to twenty

I don't know if I can shoot that well at 20!! I was shocked to do it at 12!!

Ahhh grasshopper perfect practice makes perfect. That is mighty fine shooting at 12 yds. Come a ways so far eh?

yeh Katman, I have taken this on with a ravenous appetite for proficiency. When i go to the woods this fall, if I am fortunate enough to get a shot, I want to be the best that I can be. I owe it to the animal and myself and even all of you on here that have helped me along. I began shooting the second week of Jan. I couldn't get a group at 10 yards. Now, i am grouping pretty well out to 15-16 yards. Decent at 20 and have even made some shots at 25. I shoot arrows everyday, some good days and some bad. I am having the time of life. I find myself judging distances and and drawing an imaginary bow and hitting my anchor on everything!

Addictive ain't it. Nice group I think your on to it.

thank you, yes more addicting than I thought it would be.

Well done Grasshopper !

thanks chuck, I don't know if I can repeat that!

Yeah, but you did it once.. Now you know you can !

				Looking great!
If you can't hit a small target at 20 or 30 yards, you should use a much bigger target. The longer shots will tell you a story, it's worth the time to find a place where you can shoot a few dozen shots at the longer range to confirm tune.
Blaine, most guys don't bare shaft woods because if they are more than a little stiff/weak they can break when they hit the target. I'm sure some guys do, but a little search of the archives might be helpful to you regarding this process.
BTW, GREAT shooting!

it's pouring outside, we have sleet then snow coming, I will have to wait until tomorrow to shoot longer distances. I will use my deer target. Or i may go 35 mins up the road and shoot indoors.

The critters are in trouble now.

ha! we'll see, a foam block not breathing can be hit with enough practice, a live animal, that will  be a test!

				Looking good grasshopper !
