I was reading some threads about if easton were going fade out some of the alluminums or not, so I was wondering the same thing as well, I had called them this morning to ask that very same question on if and which ones they may fade out. (because I want to shoot the legacys) and they told me to call back in 4 weeks or so, because their new year starts in November. they can tell me then on what their plans are for the next year.If you guys would like I will keep you posted when I find out as well.
that would be awsome if you could do that!
Thanks!!!
Bill
SO they didn't flat out deny it. Imagine that.
They told my local shop that they were going to standard sizes such as 200-600. The shop held a big sale to get rid of the old sizes. I stocked up on 2114's, 2016's and 2018's. I'm just parroting what I was told by the shop owner. I haven't talked to Easton.

It's the "No Archer Left Behind" program. They are going to make size designations approximate the carbons, so even a Caveman can understand them 8^). Maybe.
I think Easton has discovered, there are so many people now bareshafting and adjusting spine with length and point weight they can make fewer spines like the carbons. Its just another way of reducing production costs and increasing profits, the corporate credo!

One of the great things about aluminums was the great variety in spine that was available. Now they're taking that away?... Bummer.
