between a 145 gr and 150 gr broad head? say a 145 gr 3 blade trail maker vs a 150 woodsman Elite?
-
You should not see a difference at all.
-
what is the difference between the woodsman elite and the woodsman original?
-
What I've heard, the elite is a stronger broadhead.
-
Nope. I can't tell the difference in anything under 50gr really.
-
I've never been able to see any difference in weights that close.

wow..I figured with 50 gr it would be a spine difference.
-
I would agree 50 gn would make a spine difference and you would notice but 5 gn would be no noticeable difference
-
anyone know anything about the VPA 2 blade 150 gr?
-
Nope
-
I have shot the 150 grain 2 and 3 blade BH. Moved to a 200 grain this year. Great heads. Fly well and sharpen easily.
-
One thing I have learned is that you cannot always trust the number marked on the package...I have some broadheads that are marked 225 grains that only weigh 212

dave I have seen that a lot over the years. I need to invest in a pocket grain scale
-
Technicalities, I said under 50gr. :biglaugh:
-
We knew what you meant. :D

Plus once you start sharpening the broadheads you could see a couple gr difference. I shot those woodsmans at 135 gr and the Magnus at 125 and saw no difference in arrow flight or impact.
-
No!
