If you ever owned or shot one, a ILF modified or not, I'd like opinions.
I've had about 3 or 4 camo and black/ maple Over the years, in Various weight ranges. They are decent little bows. A bit on the loud side. And because of the aluminum riser it's temperature sensitive. So if it's chilly. That riser is COLD. if years ago I would have known I wanted one in the future. Ida kept one of them for sure. Reasonable cost too. I don't think I paid over $300 for any of them and they were about a year old or newer. I definately give them a thumbs up.
My first traditional bow...not counting the Little Bear I shot when I was a kid. My wife bought it for me for our first wedding anniversary. We were at the pro shop and I saw it hanging on the wall. I made the comment that I'd like try shooting a recurve again since I hadn't since I was about 6....was 26 at the time. It's been a fun 5 years since then and I've went through ALOT of bows.
Still have the Dorado. That's one I'll never part with. It is a little "twangy" but bow hush fixed that. And it is like holding a chunk of ice when it's cold out. But I have no complaints. They are tough as nails...mine was flung at the target on a few occasions when starting out and the arrows missed the target lol.
Mine is 45# and it now has a Zebco reel on it. My wife shot it all last year bowfishing.
