For a few reasons, only bow I have and am able to shoot right now is an old Stemmler "semi-recurve".
All I know of them is that Stemmler Archery made bows in Long Island City, N.Y., I think in the 50's/60's. I'm guessing mine is early 60's.( I was totally surprised to find, after looking real closely, that this one was made in China!)
Wondering how these bows were regarded.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the tip Hud. I've already had some generous help and great responses over there!
There shop was in Mannorville and one of my club members had access to it I guess. I remember he got about 30 old unfinished roughed out all wood bows. Well they would take a belt sander to each one and get it down in weight and then shoot it until it broke. Sad, what a complete waste.
