Title: The Footed Shaft
Post by: Jon Stewart on February 23, 2015, 05:28:00 PM
Wife and I are in Rochester, Mn for a Mayo visit tomorrow so we sought out a trad shop in the area and was sent to the Footed Shaft.  What a great traditional archery shop. Terry Banitt and his wife made Chris and I feel right at home.  Had a good visit, he gave me a couple of gifts and of course I found something to buy.

You just don,t find trad shops like his anymore.

You get over his way make sure you stop in.

We get up to the Cities once or twice a year.  We normally detour through Rochester to stop at Terry's shop.  Great service and lots of great stuff!

I have never visited the shop, but have ordered bows and other stuff in the past and every transaction has been just fine.

They were just at the Wisconsin Traditional Archers convention this past weekend in Madison, WI and of course I just had to buy a few items from them. They are always at a few trad shoots in the southern Wisconsin area during the summer.....pleasure to have them there.

They will most likely be at the P.B.S. Odd year gathering in July. And, they will most likely leave with some of my money as well. Great guy's.

The store isn't too far from the Pope and Young museum. Visit both!

I've been there a few times over the years(before terry and recently) always a pleasure, and as already stated the pope and young Museum is not too far off just a little further south in chatfield ...makes for an enjoyable day

Great Folks, La Mont was a great resource when I first got into trad archery, and the tradition continues.
