Hey guys, looking for some input from anyone who's had the pleasure of sending a few arrows down range from Gregg's new curve...
Thanks, Jr.
Someone who went to Kalamazoo may have. Gregg literally just released this model, he has not built many yet...there are only a few out there and orders for more. I spoke to him during the development phase and he was excited about it and so am I. In a way this model is to the Helms Deep what the Inferno was to the Elkheart. I've seen the force-draw curve and its a winner. Reflexed riser offers a little more speed for folks that want it. Its a smoothie too for the size. There's one of the first batch for sale on LW that someone I think bought off Gregg at Kalamazoo. Guy is offering it for a significant discount on the new price, think the guy just needs some emergency funds. Good stuff in a way cause it means someone else will get to try it and get the word out.
Chuck, that someone will be me.....!! HA..!! I just picked it up, I'll give you a full report when I get it.
I was looking for some input from guys at Kalamazoo that shot em'....Thanks guys in advance...!
I shot one in Kzoo. Gregg was very excited about his new design. Seemed like its performance exceeded even Gregg's expectations. I found it to be VERY fast, quiet and pretty nice to shoot, no complaints at all. I am sure if you like Java Man bows and want a recurve you will like this bow.
I most likely shot the bow you just bought.
I sure love my 58" Elkheart!!! :archer2:
Congrats on the 'new' bow Guss.
What, no pictures ? :nono:
Here's the one from the ad.... (http://***********.bowsite.com/classifieds2/pics/00small54722856.JPG)

C'mon man! I already have four of Gregg's bows... Now you're gonna make me want another. Enablers!!! Every one of you. Lol
Congrats on the new bow Jr. !!! Looking forward to hearing more about it. Sure it's a sweet shooter, like all of Gregg Coffey's bows.
Bill
Shot that one at k-zoo. Very fast little bow quite and no hand shock at all, thought a lot about buying it there, didn't make it half way home and was on the phone w Gregg ordering one ! I'm very weak can't wait to get it in a turkey blind or a climbing stand
Good stuff guys...!! I figured if Gregg built it.....it would be a sweet shooter..!! :archer2:
Here are a few pics I got straight from the man himself....
Thanks Gregg..!

Mine is the bow on the left. I'll give a full report when it arrives...I'm anxious to see how it stacks up against my Elkheart...!
Cool so you bought it from Bill. Was a killer deal last I saw his ad. I'm sure you will enjoy it, Gregg knows how to build a sweet shooting bow zero question.
There's one for sale on another site right now.

Depending where you saw it, that may be the one Guss bought ! :D
Good looking sticks there. I'd like to try one.
In my opinion....those are some sexy curves...!!!
Not sure if I shot one of those over the holidays or not. Shot everything he had on his "range".

I shot one at K-ZOO and absolutely loved the reflexed grip. It was different from all the other recurves I have shot and proved to be extremely comfortable. The dished front of the grip naturally brought your hand closed around the grip and felt extremely natural. I loved it!
As for shooting, I was equally impressed. That little bow took my 29.5" draw with not the slightest bit of hesitation. Not only that, but it was very quiet and surprisingly fast for such a small bow.
Overall I would say it is without a doubt a winner. The Eros is one of my two favorite bows of all the bows I shot at K-ZOO. The smooth draw, speed, and wonderful grip make this bow a must have. Cheers and enjoy your new bow! SS

Nathan, I had not started this new bow yet when you visited right after Christmas. Made the form on Jan 4th.
Gregg
Thanks for the info SS.....I'm really pumped now...!!
Thread bump. Any Eros owners care to share their thoughts and experiences?
Feels awesome in the hand, dead, quiet and very very smooth. Pretty fast to boot. No chrono tho
