Title: Hoyt Buffalo riser / Border hex limbs
Post by: Nathan Killen on February 16, 2015, 09:48:00 PM
I've read that this isn't possible...but here is a picture with the combo, but there isn't anymore info other than the picture. I'd sure like to know if this is doable !

Made to fit formula fitting not ilf....I thought I saw a pair for sale recently.  Uukha has an adapter.

centex is right. border, sky, and mk archery make formula limbs, and uukha makes an ilf adapter (only works with uukha limbs)

Call Sid first to see if he is still doing them.

Border is still making them. Sky is not. Also the Uukha adapter only works with their limbs.

Here is Graybark's Buffalo with the border limbs ! Makes for a great looking combo and Graybark says there a improvement over the factory Hoyt limbs.

thanks for putting up the pic's Nathan .
to be fair photo's don't really do this set up any justice its super smooth to draw & faster to my eye than the hoyt limbs ,but ill have to chrono it to be sure .my limbs are the wood core so a little cheaper than the hyper flex core's but a lot cheaper than the latest hoyt top end limbs & being black are ready to hunt    :archer:

I also just exchanged an email with them. If you guys want a carbon conventional limb they make them with wood cores for $388 or synthetic for $471 plus shipping. Only downside is the shipping is about $110. Still a good deal vs the Hoyt upgrades.
