My pup Zwickey and I went shed hunting today, sorta. We didn't hit any places we thought deer would be in daytime, since quite a few are still packin antlers and we don't want to kick em off to drop antlers somewhere else.
We found one shed, actually I saw it and guided her to it. It couldn't have been much fresher, the bits of stuff on base were still red.
Hope we can get some more, I drove around section tonite and saw 35 deer, 2 bucks with both sides, and one with one side.
Renee said while I was gone, she let the dogs out and there was a big deer almost in the yard, it headed toward my 2.5 acres of beans on the ridge! :D

Red bone or what? Whatever it (Zwicky) is looks good.
Good looking dog with a great name........ Hope you and your partner find a bunch.
Great!!! I sure hope to finally find one this year. Are you trying to train her to find them?
Yellow lab and Vizsla (Hungarian pointer)cross. She is smart, and yes we are trying to train to find sheds, and more importantly to blood trail next fall.
Kenny,
Good looking dog there, I have a Bluetick/Shepard mix, this will be her first season looking for sheds as well.
Good luck with Zwickey..
Pat
My that pup has grown!
Love the dogs name.
Good looking dog, with a great name. Good luck with her. God bless.
And here I thought this was going to be a Zwickey kill thread! Either way, cool looking dog and good luck on your property. TW
Love it! Man she's growing fast

I was hoping to see a mean old hog with a Zwicky through the goodies and some shattered bone to boot. But this is cool too! That's a good looking dog.
Thanks guys! Yep, she is a poop factory, pour the food in and there it is!! Growing like a weed for sure! Still lotsa loose hide to fill up too.
She's a beauty brother!
Looking forward to meeting Zwickey and hopefully creating a few gushing, easy bloodtrails for her to work on this fall

Nice!! Cool name also.. I'm naming my next dog muzzy since my wife wouldn't let me name either of my kids that..
We took a walk today and found a matched set in a clover plot!! I saw em from a hundred yards and sorta led her closer to em! They were about 8 feet apart in the wide open! Luckiest , easiest double ever for me!!

Like others have said, nice looking dog. My pup hasn't found any sheds yet, probably because they're under 150" of snow these days.
That dog is a keeper!
I work a dog for a living I know how rewarding it is! Good looking pup you got there!

Thanks guys, can't wait to try her on blood. She's still got a lot of puppy in her now, but should calm down a bit by fall.
Charlie, she wants to meet you too, says tell ya she likes peanut butter flavored treats.....
Just kiddin! Renee keeps her supplied with more treats than she can handle!
