I wear stormy kromer's a lot during cold weather but I'd like a short billed cap that I can wear for bowhunting and day to day.  I'd like something in a solid color like olive or dark grey.  I see a lot of guys on here wear stuff like that so, if you don't mind, show me what ya got.  I really like the big jim cap in olive but I'm not sure about how flat it is on top.  I probably want something more rounded like a standard ball cap.  Thanks!

I don't have a picture handy, but I have one of the Two Tracks fleece hats. It's short billed, and so soft it wouldn't matter anyway. They also have a wool model that is much warmer and I want one, but I find the fleece a pretty good insulator for chilly fall days.
Check out the web site. They're a sponsor on here.

Firstlite has a short billed beanie that is great in moderate temps. I wear mine with the bill turned backwards half the time. I think Stormy Kromer used to make a ladies version with a shorter bill. Shorter bill appeared to be the only difference and would be ideal. I think they no longer offer it. Probably should have marketed it to bowhunters. Sorry no pics.

I had these made up for our archery club. Not the color you asked about but it is with a short bill. Lots of examples around. Archery Past in Bend Oregon has/had a ton of these in camo and gave away bunches of them at a PBS youth hunt. I have a few around but have not taken any pics. Raptor Archery in Hood River may have them too.

Thanks everyone!  I have two stormys already but you cant wear them too awfully long in GA. I ended up ordering one of the otto caps like big jim sells.
Wish I wouldve seen that tradgang olive in time. Lol

Here you go Etter. The Big Jim's and the Trad Gang hat are both made by Otto, but I don't think they make them anymore with the wire brim. The other one is made by Two Tracks.

Nice.  So the "flap" can be pulled down with the over the brim portion acting as a facemask ?
