I have to relay a positive experience I had with Mr. Stewart. I purchased a new 3 PC Slammer from him last year, which I loved. He had the bow in stock when I bought it, but it was 62" 52@28. I happily purchased it, but found that the limbs were just a little too short and a touch too heavy for my liking.
I put my bow up for sale and was given some great advice by a fellow TG'er. That advice was to contact Leon and see if he would be interested in taking the limbs back toward a set of new limbs. With a little trepidation, I called Leon. He offered me a more than generous trade for my current bow limbs toward a new set of my desired weight/length limbs.
There are a lot of great bowyers out there and we are blessed to have so many of them to choose from. At the top of my list, and among these wonderful bowyers, is Mr. Leon Stewart.

One of my favorite bowyers of all time. I still use the Slammer as a benchmark to judge every new bow that I try. I've owned one of his r/d's, one of his 3pc Slammers, and two 1pc Slammers and I know I will own more eventually someday.
Leon is a heck of a man. Built me a beatiful Slammer that shoot like a dream. Stand up guy for sure. Always a joy to talk hunting with him.
