I was at the Kalamazoo Expo and visited with Monty and Annie. I'm not certain how many books they had printed, but he was signing them nonstop for buyers Friday evening and all day Saturday. People were lined up and waiting. I ended up with two of his books. Along with Monty, my friend and hunting partner Bryan (Burkhardt) pranked me quite well. It ended with Bryan gifting me the #3 leather-bound limited edition with a personal note from Monty...I was shocked and well...grateful to have such friends and hunting partners.

If you like bowhunting books, this is the book of the decade at least. Big and beautiful and loaded with glossy images from hunts around the world. I can't wait to sit down and read mine!

I realize this should be directed to Mr. Browning but thought someone here might know.  Is it $65 for the standard book or for the leather bound book?  Want to place an order correctly.   Thanks.

Hermon, the standard book will cost you $65.  I believe there will be 100 of the leather edition books at a cost of $100 each.

Standard. The LE is $100. The book is big and costs a lot to ship. I snagged both at Kzoo.

If you want to save on shipping AND have a great time come to the Michigan Traditional Bowhunters Banquet in Grand Rapids Feb 21. Monty will be the guest speaker and it is a GREAT evening.

Oh, I wish I could Steve.  Be cheaper for me to pay shipping since I would end up buying something that I shouldn't at the banquet!

Thanks for the response everyone.   Check will be in the mail!

Cant wait to get the book. I e-mailed Annie this morning. I guided a friend of theirs a few years back for bear. He was kind of shocked that I knew about Monty and his books. As well as his articles in Traditional Bowhunter Magazine. Your book is one of my favorites to Mike. I might have been one of the first ones to order it..lol. Hope to meet you in Ryan's bear camp one day.

I remember reading a story in TB where Monty came too close to a grizzly bear. I don't think it was the article about him killing a grizzly, but the one about a close encounter. It made the hair stick up on the back of my neck!
