A 50# HH Wesley 522 gr. arrow @ 160fps. What do you think enough power for deer size game @ hunting distances?

Absolutely without a doubt also a good SHARP head along with you placing it in the right spot and no worries!

				Yes!

Great set up, I would only want more horsepower on really big bears or really big pigs.............

				Great plenty.  No worries!

				Yes

				More than enough.   :archer:

You didn't mention your draw length, but for deer type animals it is good.

My draw length Is 27" and the bow is 50#@27. I am new to this Longbow thing. I have been shooting Recurve and R/D hybrid "longbows" for years.

Sounds almost perfect to me........

That is a great rig for deer. Plenty enough oomphie, yet 50# is relatively easy to control. That is what I would recommend to just about any newbie who asked.

				:p

Placement is the key along with a sharp broadhead. Can't go anywhere with deflated lungs or punctured heart.

I am in my 60s Now and my bow weight has dropped from 65+# to 50_55#.
