I just finished reading Mark Baker's "Tension on the String". WOW what a great read. The book is a collection of some of his bow hunting adventures and is full of names you will recognize from Tradgang. Mark has a way of making you feel like you are right there with him. He tells it like it is, the good and the not so good. If you get a chance to read it I don't think you will be disappointed.

I agree, Great Book, I may just have to dig it out and re read it.
Mark's book was a great addition to my library. I've picked it up many times to re-read a chapter or two. One of those "tough to put down" books.
Just got it on my Kindle. Thanks for the tip!
I bought it on the Kindle, and I will be buying a hard copy. I definitely want this book in my collection so my boys can read it someday.
It is a great book, might dig mine back out too
Mark brings wood to life, and uses that life to fill his stomach.
Thanks for the kind words guys!
High praise, Mark. Guess I am going to have to find one and read it!
I agree, it is a fantastic book.
I have always enjoyed Mark's writing so buying the book was guaranteed good read. It certainly lived up to that.
We come to a "cyber camp"
We read books on a kindle
And then we promote the virtue of traditional archery
