Will it work at a 29" draw? How are they for speed, quietness, smoothness etc? Thanks, Bob
I believe Big Jim would be the one to ask. Always has been very helpful.
I shoot one that is 60 @ 28.( I draw 28 )
I love it, but maybe you should ask the 3 little pigs that are ( were, I've eaten most of them ) in my freezer from last time I went hunting.
I think it can be done, I'm sure the poundage might influence it some. I can tell you with certainty that the 56" eats a 29" draw beautifully and then some.
Speed- very good, upper middle I'd say.
Quietness- tuned they are superbly quiet with 10gpp.
Smoothness- one of the smoothest short r/d longbows available. Just a lovely linear pull.
Love my thunderchild. Fantastic bow. I shoot a 58" bow but it is the quietest bow I have shot with a 10gpp arrow hands down.
I have a 56" that is so smooth @29" that I don't see any problem with the 54" but Big Jim will tell you.
Imo guys who say short bows are hard to shoot haven't tried a TC. They are sweet little bows. Remarkably quiet and solid performers.
Not an issue at all! My Snakewood T/C is smooth at a tad over 29" draw! No stacking for me!
I would say let her rip tatter chip , no problem
