I was able to break free this afternoon and made my way to a stand that I thought held promise..
The little boar came in and was very suspect.. But he finally got in a position that I favor.
He caught the arrow in the short ribs angling down and forward. He ran about 30 yards and stopped. He stood for a few seconds then walked off. I heard him fall and thrash in the cane..
This Northern Mist longbow pulls right on 60 pounds at my 29" draw. The broadhead exited behind his shoulder on the offside. The exit hole is showing in this picture..
