I am asking for some assistance in choosing not only the correct string but also some reccomendation for brands/types.
My bow is a Jim Taylor marked with 45# @ 28".
Measured last night, I got 63" from tip to tip. It's a 1 piece longbow.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Blaine, I have used four venders to build bow strings in the past, but none have compared to the service and quality of Ten Ring Strings. I was so impressed with the service, quality and my dealing with Allen Shafer that I felt compelled to start a post about it.
Is this one of his laminated bows, or all wood?
The safe bet for material is B-55. I'm not sure if he made any of his laminated bows FF compatible. If it's an all wood bow, definitely B-55.
45@28 (if marked correctly--sometimes Jim would fudge a bit), if you draw 28" or less, 12-14 strands. No need to pad the loops.
Endless or Flemish, your call. Either one will work just fine--it's mostly a matter of personal preference.
Probably a 62" AMO. Measure from the "top" of one string groove, follow the contour of the limb, through the center of the riser, to the "top" of the other string groove. Take that measurement and subtract 3", and that should get you in the ball-park for string length.
For serving, the size will depend on what type nock you use on your arrows. I like 62XS, Halo, or Power Grip.

"FF Compatible"
"FF" stands for "Fast Flight", which was the first modern high performance bowstring material. It's now used generically in reference to any of the high performance bowstring materials.
It was invented for Brownell by Bob Deston when he worked for them. Bob is the co-founder of BCY and has continued to be on the forefront of modern bowstring materials. He's the one to thank for every advancement made in bowstring materials, including BCY-X, which is the latest and greatest advancement. Not only did Bob invent the first modern high performance bowstring material, he also invented the first combined material--450 Premium.
"B-55"
B-55 is the name of BCY's polyester bowstring material. It's safe for any bow. With the modern materials, the bow has to be built to use them else they could damage it due to their very low amount of elasticity. It's commonly referred to as "Dacron".
"Endless/Flemish"
These are the two basic ways of assembling a bowstring.
Endless is generally 1-3 strands of material (depending on how many colors you want in it) wrapped round and round on a jig, with the loops being formed by separating and serving them.
Flemish is individual strands in 2 or 3 equal bundles with the ends twisted back into the main body of the string to form the loops--similar to a rope. These are the ones that generally have the "barber pole" look, and no serving at the loops.

Looks like you just found a string maker(LBR), I've always read good things about his strings.
I use Ten Ring Strings, he's a good one too.

I'd go with Chad! He has always made great strings for me and he is a sponsor on this site.
If you want to learn, you'd not get a better guide than Chad. If you just want a string, you can't go wrong with Chad.
I would also throw a recommendation for SBD bow strings. I just got mine and really like it. I'm grouping better and my arrow is coming out hotter.

I would be buying my strings from Chad as well except that he went and made an instructional video teaching guys how to make their own :D
And he's not kidding about "string talk", I talked to him for hours in 2013 at Denton Hill and enjoyed every minute of it.
All kidding aside, Chad is a great string builder and an even better guy....as laid back and down to earth as you will find.
Come to think of it, I would have been way ahead to just buy my strings from Chad. After looking back at all of the material that I've purchased just to support my string building "hobby"
