The Winter 2014 issue of TradArchers' World magazine features many articles written by Trad Gangers, including Rob Patuto (moose), Pat Eastes (turkey), Jeremy Bays (PVC bows), Jay Sheffield (wolf), Gary Logsdon (hogs at Pig Gig), Jerry Karbon (elk) and Gene Fisher (poem). I appreciate their contributions very much. You can get this issue at tradarchersworld.squarespace.com as either a paper copy or pdf download. (also subscriptions)
I invite any Trad Gang members to submit stories (how-to, hunting, archery history, bowyer profiles etc.) to be considered for publication in future issues of TradArchers' World magazine. To submit a story, email dabowbarn@juno.com.
Thanks, Tom
If anyone has a sika deer story, I'd really like to put it in an upcoming issue of TradArchers' World magazine.
I'll have to check this out! I've been wanting to get into writing a bit, I just might whip up an article sometime...thanks for the post. I'll go download it now.
What's the easier way to get a subscription?
Hey Darron! Give us a call at 715-536-1306 and we'll put a magazine in the mail for you. Tom
Have a couple short pieces I wrote about pig hunting and one more that I can gin up.
Hey guys, don't hesitate on the story writing. I've written a couple that Tom's been kind enough to publish so now, in addition to being a traditional archer and woodturner, I'm a published author! Great way to pass on any good stories or lessons you've learned. Nothing like being able to help others avoid mistakes that you've (hopefully) learned from. Many of the long posts and how-to's I've seen here would make great stories.
Anyone with turkey hunting tips/adventures, hog/javelina hunting tips/adventures, bowfishing stories, and how-to articles relating in some way to traditional archery... please consider submitting them to TradArchers' World at dabowbarn@juno.com.
