Has anyone shot or compared the Hill Country Bows Wildcat vs the Bobcat. I know the Wildcat has a longer riser and looks like different limb angles? I recently bought a used 62" Vyperkahn and really like that bow. I thought about ordering a new one of those but with 2 yr wait and 2k investment it may be out of my range. To me the lines of the Wildcat look very similar to the Habu?
I only draw 25" and have never shot a 62" before the Habu. Everyone seems to like the Bobcat but not sure if i should look at that with short riser and longer limbs or the Wildcat with longer riser and shorter limbs?
I talked to 4Runr and may make a roadtrip to look at them in person

I have never shot the wildcat, however I did shoot the bobcat at Kalamazoo when Roman first came out with it. It was 58"&45/50#@28. I can't remember the exact weight but I thought it was very smooth drawing, fast and stable. I only draw 26" but it seemed to be was pretty sweet shooting bow to me.

I currently own a Bobcat with 2 sets of 56" longbow limbs. I used to own a 64" Wildcat. I draw 29".
The Bobcat is a phenomenal hunting bow. My 40# limbs will absolutely smoke an arrow for the draw weight. The compact size is beneficial for hunting and it's a pleasure to shoot.
I will say I miss my Wildcat. It also was exceptionally fast, and whith the larger riser and 64" limbs it was also stable and smooth.
As much as I like the Bobcat, if I could trade for a Wildcat, I would, BUT....there is no way I could hunt the Wildcat in the blind I currently have set up in my back yard....the bobcat is the only trad bow I have that I can hunt that blind with right now.
It's all 100% personal preference. Roman makes great bows.
