I just thought I loved Dan's original 64" Whip....
This new 64" HS is a sweet shooting bow. I can't put my finger on why, but after a week of shooting it I just like it more and more.
And he has a few for sale in his inventory right now. Lookers for sure.
How bout some pics! :)
I will post some tonight. Not home at the moment
I picked this one up used. Light/dark figured Macassar Ebony riser and chocolate milk colored brown glass. Goes well together.
I find them a hair quieter than the normal whip. Faster per # also. He really hit a home run. I was hoping he would HS his 66" whip but he said it already had the amount of reflex he wanted. I'd like to revisit a 66" whip. That was my first Toelke, an inventory 66" classic grip a couple years back.

Nice looking bow! What does the HS stand for?
High Speed (I think)
A while back he redesigned the limbs in the 58, 60, and 62" Whips. This is his new limb in the 64" version.
I think that's the prettiest one I've seen you post Jeff. Congrats!
Generally not a fan of colored glass but it goes great with that riser. Fine looking bow. Have you found it to be as stable shooting as the original Whip?
Yes, very stable in my opinion
They are fine shooting bows, the new 64" HS. He is talking about redesigning the Super D, on his to do list. That I bet will be a sweet addition. Nothing wrong with the current one though, definately my favorite Toelke bow. BTW Jeff, that's a darn nice fence! I did the same with our house in Michigan, the aluminum post with the wood cross beams. Way nicer than wood posts.
Love a Toelke
He has an inventory HS Whip with an amazing cocobolo riser, beaver tail grip and knotty juniper veneers. Saw that and my MUST HAVE impulse overcame me. Can't afford it though right now
That's a sweet bow! I love Toelke's work.

Thanks Todd. We just had it built last month.....a tree fell on our old fence in October so it was time for an upgrade
Plus, I was tired of seeing my neighbor's unfinshed construction project behind us :)
Funny what you see in a pic. There's me looking at the fence, too!
I want to try a 60" Whip HS, or a 56" Chinook or maybe a Kestral...
Going to be an interesting 2015.
Nice looking bow.
Very nice!
Forgot about this one :)
