This morning I got this neat green glass bow from Steve at Northern Mist. This bow has the retro grip, the glass belly flows uninterrupted over the grip, from tip to tip.. It is right at 60 pounds at my draw length and throws a pretty arrow. Christmas a day early !
I took this bow to the woods this evening and as luck would have it a few sows came under me.
As they fed I came to full draw and released the arrow at this brown pig. The arrow was tipped with a Zwickey Delta and it disappeared right where I was looking.. It was only 16-18 yard shot.
As I watched the arrow go through her I knew the outcome, sausage!
I followed a pretty good blood trail until it all but quit ! With some diligent looking I was able to make progress until the trail got better. I found that some fat had plugged the offside hole.
She was quartering away and the arrow exited right behind her shoulder..
