Post by: tree stand on December 22, 2014, 05:58:00 PM
i hunt in central missouri.  been out six times since rifle season closed and have not seen a deer.  it seems as if they are nocturnal.  how is everyone else doing?

Where I hunt,my bro had 19 total guns over the whole 50 days or so.

I've been a few times and once saw 20 or so, next time on that stand -0

I'd say scout some more and see where they are the most.

They will probably be in good cover with food close. Then you have to be careful not to spook em getting in and out. If there is a little distance between the two, you can pull it off!

Good luck!

It's gotten pretty slow around here, way to much gun season!

Been slow at my place all year... 1 buck (archery) a doe and button buck is all that has been harvested thus far. I've been out a couple times since gun season and have only seen 2 does!
Not normal for NW Mo.

Best of luck,
Rodd
