Title: Non Typical Backyard Buck
Post by: Izzy on December 21, 2014, 11:29:00 AM
Check this dude out. He's been at my bird feeder the last 2 nights. He's not growing fast as he was a 4 only slightly smaller than this year but now he's got a double beam! If he survives the road and neighborhood spotlighter he might be something to behold in a year or two more.      (http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/WGI_0023.jpg) (http://s122.photobucket.com/user/2crazyboys_photos/media/WGI_0023.jpg.html)      (http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/WGI_0025.jpg) (http://s122.photobucket.com/user/2crazyboys_photos/media/WGI_0025.jpg.html)   (http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/WGI_0015.jpg) (http://s122.photobucket.com/user/2crazyboys_photos/media/WGI_0015.jpg.html)

When he was done eating these pretty gals came in to polish off whats left.   (http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o244/2crazyboys_photos/WGI_0035.jpg) (http://s122.photobucket.com/user/2crazyboys_photos/media/WGI_0035.jpg.html)   I can't complain, I dig the neighbors.

He's just a puppy. Give him a year or 5 and see what he looks like.

I don't even think he's 100 lbs but he is cool.

He sure looks chunkier than deer down here! I guess I would be chunkier if I had to survive in that freezer y'all call home too!

I hope all is well up your way, bud!

My favorite antler is an oddball antler.

Iz, He's definitely got shorter legs than normal looking at the pix....only other deer I've seen that look like this were piebalds.

Hope he makes it a few more years

I love seeing pictures of interesting deer like that. Looking forward to seeing a hero pic with him in a few years.

That one gal has a heck of a spur Izzy. You better check " her " for chin hair next visit.

He does look tiiiiiny the more I look at him. That frontal pic makes him look like 50#er. I looked at last years pics as well and that buck was bigger. This guy might be new to the hood.

Honestly Iz, he looks like a fawn with antlers....that was my first impression when I saw the first pic.

I've never seen a fawn with antlers before...rubbed buttons yes, but never this much antler.

I wonder...maybe a Booner in the making...

His "fuzzy" coat also looks fawn-like...
