I have a longer riser Tall Tines with a Bear rest on it and it shoots like a dream. I'm kicking around putting rests on all my bows, including my shorter riser TTs and my KB X. Anyone shoot one on a short riser??
I use short riser td's and bows with short sight windows and prefer them with elevated rests. The only factor is you must shoot with both eyes open or the top of the sight windows will block your line of sight.
Great thanks, I shoot with both eyes open as it is.
Then you'll be pleased with the results! I've done it this way for 40+ years.
My dad shot a Bear rest on his K Mag for 30 yrs.
I have them on several short risers and they work fine ... so much more forgiving than shooting off a shelf.
Short riser TT is no problem for a rest. And I set mine HIGH to clear my vanes paradox or not.

That bow has been in conditions that people would not believe and on every hunt I have been on since Brian starting building bows for sale.
I have a new TT long riser hybrid coming specifically so I can put a rest on it for vaned moose killing arrows. Not that I couldn't do that with a short riser hybrid but I think it will be better (read excuse to order another TallTines...)
I have one on a short bow super short riser. I did it because the shelf is big and flat and didn't want to whittle away at it to make it work. Put a flipper type on it. Shoots just fine. Just makes it look strange as the nocking point is waaaaayyyy above center. But again. Works just fine. Killed my first bear with it set up that way.
I had a TT and shot with a flipper rest
I've got a few rests on the way. I'm going to play around with them a little this winter. Even though I have a 2 to 8 cant, my groups are a little tighter with the rest. Thanks all
I shot a flipper rest and Berger button off my 56" Stewart multi cam, worked fine. Also shot the same setup off my 62" Kittredge one piece recurve.
