I know this is short notice, but I am going on a hog hunt in January and my group had two people pull out and need to fill their slots. It is a four day hunt (Jan. 17-20), cost $375, no limit on hogs, bring your own food and water and sleeping bag, ranch house to stay in on a 30,000 acre ranch. Spot and stalk mainly, although we do corn small areas (which you do need to bring some corn too). If you are interested, please P.M. me. Moderators, I apologize if this is not in the right area. What's the hunt cost? What licence is needed for a non resident for hogs? Thanks

I'll let sheephunter answer the question about the cost of the hunt.

You can buy a 5 day license for $48 to hunt hogs here in TX.

This sounds like it has real possibilities for me.

Give me more info please.

How many are going?  Where is the place relative to me here in Houston?  Other than the license and the personal food and drink items, what costs will there be in going or taking the empty spot?
