As I have posted recently I am making a little PVC bow for my little girl. She's 7 and this will be her first. The bow is almost done and now I have to start thinking seriously about the finish.
I have a really cool robins egg blue snakeskin that I will back it with. And any of you parents of young girls will probably know about the new disney movie frozen. So I figure I will make a blue/whitish bow and name it 'elsa' for her (main character)
So now I have a concept and a snakeskin but I need help figuring out if there is a really blonde wood out there that I can simulate for the back.
Do you guys have any ideas for me?

Well as BISCH said and... Osage is pretty blond. And I'm guessing you meant BELLY not back. If you're gonna back it with snake skin... But I'm confused as to where the wood is going to go...

Opps sorry. Yep meant to say belly. No actual wood, just a little pvc longbow that I am going to snakeskin back and simulate a blonde wood on the belly and put a leather handle wrap on.
I didn't think about maple, that's a good one. I was thinking about pine, but I think maple is even whiter.
