Title: EW Bateman or Hill Shooting Glove?
Post by: 1flyfish on December 17, 2014, 10:51:00 AM
Need a new glove and was wondering what people think of either one for craftsmanship and durability. Bateman offers cordovan leather also so is it worth the extra cost. Thanks for any feedback

I am currently shooting both.  The cordovan bateman is a little more slick and a little thicker/stiffer, but both are quality and work well for me.  I pick up whatever is closest at the moment.

Can't go wrong either way IMO.

I have the Bateman three under tab and it shoots great. I used to shoot with a Bodnik speed glove and had good results, but once I tried the tab there was no going back. Smooth release!! Built to last I can tell you that. I've had mine for about to years and use the hell out of it. Good luck!

I have shot Bateman cordovan tabs for years and last year started shooting their cordovan glove. I really like their products. Well made and durable. Can't go wrong with Bateman products.   :campfire:

I use a Bateman glove and love it.  I've heard that he's retiring soon and that soon his gloves may no longer be available.  don't know if that's true or not, but I've ordered a new one just in case.  I suspect I've still got ten years or so on the current one, but since I'd like to shoot more than ten more years I'm covered!
