Recently I ordered and received one of Dan's tabs (www.montanabows.com) and have found it to be hands-down the finest I have ever shot! The tab has a thin leather backing piece under either another piece of leather or one from the coarse, tight wool you see under saddles. Both are provided and they can be changed out or replaced by a small screw-lock piece that attaches them and the backing pad to a rubber "o ring" which fits over your middle finger, you can choose a size to fit. The wool is particularly slick and is un-affected by moisture. The tab is offered in split-finger, 3 under and 2 under configurations.
I have shot tabs for a number of years and for some time have been cutting my own out of a single sheet of craft store leather. I thought I was happy until I tried this one, again the very finest I have ever shot.
Yep I got one in last week and after shooting gloves for a long time I like his tabs better . Get a great release with it
Me three!!!
Yep! They are indeed a fine tab. After talking with Dan I had him ship me a two under tab. I love it! I shoot it with the wool facing and it works flawlessly.
Can't beat that price with a stick.
