Is the string material the same, string silencers the same material, in the same place as on the old string?  Some string materials are more noisy than others, though most can be quieted with appropriately placed string silencers.

Was the old string possibly B50 ? And is the new one Fast Flight or some other hi performance material ?
That could be a possible explanation .

It can vary even with the same material; depends on 'who' made the string as opposed to 'what' the material is. Buy from a string maker-like Chad, and not a string seller-like Cabela's. Not singling out Cabela's just using them as an example.

Most strings need a shooting in period before they settle.  It might be stretching a bit and changing.  I don't really do any serious tuning till I shoot a new string for about a week and verify that it is no longer stretching.

Changing strings I always re fine tune. May have to go up or down on BH to find new sweet spot..........
