This was posted on a large social media site by FirstLite. Thanks for bring this to my attention FirstLite. As hunters, we need spokespeople who're articulate and educated on the essence of hunting. Although we may express ourselves differently when describing the essence of why we hunt, Chris Pratt reached across a social demographic which is usually not crossed in support of our hunting lifestyle. Your thoughts?

Boy is that the truth!
Awesome to see someone of my generation in the limelight speaking in such a thoughtful way about hunting that will help the nons or antis perhaps understand a little. Bravo Chris. It may not hurt him. Kurt Russell loves to hunt and he's done well for himself.
How times have changed (and not for the better). Lots of actors of yesteryear were hunters, and didn't have to apologize for what is a normal human activity. Now, idiots who think that all meat comes from a package in a supermarket tell us that we are heartless barbarians for doing what has kept the human race alive since the beginning of humanity.
No, I'm not jaded; not at all.

Well said !
If you agree, send letters of support to the studios. Do not mention his take on hunting, rather say you intend to see every movie he appears in
I love Chris Pratt, this is awesome. Had no idea he was a hunter. Glad he could put it into words so eloquently.
Very well said, good for him.
Yep, I will be seeing a movie he's in
I believe he spoke very eloquently. I believe Mr. Pratt put some emotions behind he said and even meant it. I agree and appreciate what he said. But honestly who is he? Just another actor. Just another person. I understand he has a platform that may reach more people than you and I, but I doubt anyone starts hunting or stops because of this individuals opinion. Our particular sport will grow when we put a bow in someones hands who has never loosed an arrow. Never harvested their own protein. Never saw the sun rise in the east and set in the west and spent all the day long with out going in doors. I think it is a great segment of but I'm not that worried about what Hollywood or anyone else for that matter thinks about my hunting. Just my 2 cents.

Nice to see that not all of Hollywood is infested with pea brained granola's!
Way to stand up for what you believe in Chris!
