Any ideas on who sells quality, heavy-spined cedar arrows? Sites I've checked so far only provide spines up to 70#. I need 90# due to long draw length. Thanks in advance for any ideas
Try calling The Nocking Point. They don't list them but they might have some. Won't hurt to ask.
I think Rose City might be able to help you out. You'll need to call them, though. I have a long draw, as well, and ended up using Surewoods for my heavier bows.
Give a call to Jeff Higgins at Emerald archery, he usually has some.

The footed shaft is another place to try.
Might also look at some options other than cedar.
Wapiti. 23/64's
Call Jason at Howard Hill Archery
I've been shooting POC for more than 50 years and have never seen POC spined that high in 11/32 shafts, except for Sweetland compressed cedar forge woods. It is sometimes available in 23/64 shafts, but still on the rare side.
Since almost all POC nowadays comes from Rose City, they would probably be the best place to start your search.
Doug fir also makes an excellent arrow, and you may be able to get 90# spine in 11/32 from Surewood Shafts. Good luck.
Call Bill at Allegheny Mountain Arrowoods....in Coudersport, Pa. Great assortment....
At that spine you are probably going to end up with fir rather than POC. IMO, fir makes a better wood arrow anyway.
RMSG a sponsor here.
I agree with Fletcher and others who say to go with Surewood douglas fir shafts. I can make arrows out of many types of wood...but doug fir from Surewood Shafts is my choice. They will be able to get you into the spine you are wanting in 11/32".
I am with Fletcher and snag as well. DF would be a better more consistent supply in that spine, or if you must have cedar build out your side plate a bit so you are looking for 70#, not 90. Just a thought.
