Got my longbow from Jim yesterday and all I can say is Jim you are an artist and fantastic bowyer.I am blow away by the way this bow shoots. It has a Bubinga riser with Wenge encasements,Bamboo limbs with a nice center highlight of toasted maple down the center of the limbs, chocolate glass back and white glass belly nice old school look.I do not have a photo host for this forum but you can see it on the "OTHER FORUM" lol. Thanks again Jim you are the man.Lou
If you are a bowaholic, I feel for you. You have just run out of any excuses to own any other bows.
My MorningStar has made a widow out of all my other bows. It just shoots and handles perfect, makes you wonder why you keep your other bows. Personally, it should be illegal for a bow to be that perfect.
With that said. I have another vixen coming soon lol. That vixen has big shoes to fill. The reverse handle has stolen my heart.
Congrats on your morning star
Oh and if you want to email the pics to me at
Brianlocal3@yahoo.com I will post them for you
Brian
Congrats! James is an awesome bowyer & person. I'm also excited for me, because I'm another bow closer to getting my Morrningstar. :clapper: :clapper: Can't wait to see the pics
James puts so much performance and artistry into his bows. The Morningstar was an excellent choice! Looking forward to the pics, but I imagine you're just out shooting, and shooting, and shooting! :D
Congrats! The Morningstar sure is gathering quite the following! JD Berry is a great bowyer, I agree.
Brian- another Vixen huh? Making me feel bad for taking this one from you! Haha
I bet you feel real bad Luke

Ooooh! That's nice!
Like shooting mine, but it is only 48# @ 28", so I can't take it moose hunting....
Very Nice!
:archer:
Very sharp indeed!! Congrats again!
My other bows have had a long rest since I got my Morningstar. OE has the knack for making your other bows hangar queens.
Very nice. I haven't got a morningstar yet - but I am loving my taipan -- James sure makes it hard to stay with hust one bow :)
Thanks, You ot to see the Vixen that went into the spray room today, (OE194D) Bad to the bone. ..0E
1flyfish, how long is your Morning star?
Another great OE bow !
I had Jim build it at 64 in as I do most of my hunting from tree stands and he assured me that at my draw of 27 in this bow would perform as all the others and it sure has, nice smooth draw and it really throws an arrow,he did a fantastic job love it
