How do you like them ? I am shooting GT 75/95's w/100gr insert and 250 gr head , full length. I was going to try these to get a little more FOC as the shafts are lighter. Thanks guys
I shoot full length 400's with 145 tip. Fly like darts. They look great also. #45 at 30in draw.
Chain2 Amazing that you just brought up this question. I am in the market for the some shaft. I am trying to shoot it out of a 60# @ 28.75. I draw to 30"What bow combo are you shooting your GT 75/95 out of?
Sasquatch. 55@31". It hits like a sledgehammer
I am shooting 300s out of a 57 at 30 longbow: I use a 100 gr brass insert, 100 gr steel insert and a Tuffhead Meathead. 680 gr total arrow weight, 25% FOC.
I have had great luck with their shafts, tough as nails.
I found them good shafts with a very consistent spine, but they aren't as though as the Carbon Express Eritage and for their actual cost you could buy the Full Metal Jacket that are sooo much better, for a small addition in price.
Good arrows but as mentioned I liked other options better for the price.
I like the idea of controlling the weight as you go with a GT. Can you do the same with a FMJ?
FMJ start out 30% heavier then the 3 rivers 300. What do you want the finally arrow weight.
The only downside with the FMJ's is the insert. The hit inserts aren't compatible with most broadheads/field points.
Haven't shot the trad only's but have heard good things.
I am high 600's now. But these shafts are lighter than the GTs so my FOC would be higher , less with the FMJ's
I'm in the market for some new arrows as well, and new to trad archery....so when you guys say "full length" are you meaning uncut arrows? My draw measures at 28" and my current arrows are 28.5" how long are full length arrows? And at my draw is it something I should consider? Currently shooting a 45# bear Montana, and carbon express 250's with 125 grain field tips, not great flight as I think I'm overspined

Unless things have changed, I was under the impression that the standard hit insert was compatible with standard points/broadheads. A deep six insert is also available.
I draw 31". GT 'a are 32". I know the Trad Only are longer. I'd cut them at 32" if I got some.
I shoot a full length 400 with either a 250 grain head up front or a 100 grain insert with a 150 grain point out of a 61@30 Zipper sxt longbow. That setup works great and has killed a few deer. The arrows aren't overly tough but they're still pretty durable and they penetrate very well. You can't go wrong with them
Herman is correct as far as the compatibility of the FMJ and HIT inserts with standard broadheads and inserts. I've been using FMJ shafts and FMJ Dangerous Game shafts with the brass HIT inserts without any issues on points fit.
