Turns out we've got some good & interesting deer on my inlaws farm. Since the taxidermist got what we think was "the big one", I've turned my attention to something a lil different.
I don't have a copy of the pictures from my brother inlaw's trail cam but there is apparantly a 3 legged buck. He's since been seen twice, both times on a small wheat field not far from the house. One of those times after I had my Barronett blind put up on the field.
Now for the interesting part. Imagine regular main beams turned into a position that appears like caribou shovels!!! I've never used my photo bucket account but might just have to learn & use it!

I kinda feel dirty having used the bang stick during "orange " days.
It has been stated that injuries, especially to back legs, often cause deformities in antler growth and development. Interesting.
