been waiting all week to hunt (earlier this week was cold with good winds), and this morning it was 72 degrees by the time I got down, and I was treated to an east wind all morning (usually NW is our prevailing wind).

Dang Johnny....i will trade ya! Yesterday morn it was -1 degree, -12 to -15 wind chills!! I too saw squat! So if im not seeing anything, i would much rather be in 72 degree weather...lol! Supposed to rain here tomorrow all day as well. In the stand now and its awesome- 45 degrees with light winds. Hoping me or my son stick something tonight!

Yep, FL weather sucks. 83 degrees here sweating like a pig and having the wind hit every direction within a 5 minute time span.
Hunt the wind they say. Well right now where I live that is not happening. I have only seen 1 doe this season. I hate Florida hunting. Now the fishing is where I have it made.
yep, i'd rather be warm and skunked than freezing and skunked. sure envy you retired fellas who make your own schedule. got a ways to go, myself.
guess the hunting shows i've collected on DVR will have to suffice today. gusty and raining!
Freedom hunter I totally understand that frustration with the wind I've been busted so may times this year as the wind will lay down right bout prime time and then start swirling. Never been this frustrated as this season and yes john and I hunt the same woods. He's really just mad tho bc Ole Miss got spanked yesterday lol, that sure didn't help his weekend
