arrows are hitting consistantly high and to the left, what can
i do to fix this?
Try not gripping the bow too tightly, make sure you are not twisting the string at full draw,(you can test this by drawing a bow and looking in a mirror and see how much you are twisting the string at full draw), too much down pressure with top finger, too much heel into the bow.
could there be something wrong with shaft spine?
possibly too, stiff if right handed. Could try a heavier point.
no, lefthanded, does that mean too weak?, I'm using 2016s cut to 29in, I shoot 45@29
sounds like your arrows are allright maybe but you could be a little weak but it sounds right
Ian, Are these new arrows, or new bow? If not have you checked brace height, nocking point etc
What weight point are you using Ian? Does sound like you need to raise your nock point some for starters.
I am new to tuning, have played around with nock point, got the arrows in a trade, they were unused, I'm using 125gr feild points, I have some sitka spruce arrows that shoot perfect, but, only have a few left, so these are my new arrows
I'm no expert but when I pluck the string they shoot high and to the left.
I think your arrows are way too stiff. Hap
Are the aluminums new? Are they hitting high COMPARED to the woodies? How is their flight?
If they fly ok, it might just be the difference between wood and aluminum...
If not, check your back tension. I recently had a bout with it...I was missing at 5 yards. Checked my form, it all fell back into place.
