I was just perusing a book about Native bows, arrows and quivers. It is by John Baldwin, and was copyrighted 1999. The writing is a little rough, and I take what he says with a pillar of salt, but the pictures were worth the somewhat hefty price I paid in '05.
I opened it up again after reading about hafting stone heads here. I had some different impressions from what I had read, so I went to look at the artifacts in the book. While doing so, I thought of you guys, and realized that I had seen no mention of the book in these pages. Thought I would share.

Killdeer
Definately great reading, shell bought the Early knives and beaded sheaths of the American frontier by this author for ideas of some of the collected sheaths a few years ago and your right Killie, it was pricey  at the time she bought it but well worth the pics.<><
Hey Killy-
I just looked at one for $94.99! Wow! Too rich for my blood!
