I factor in the wind chill and it's generally around 0. That's about -18 Celcius.

I've had one  for a couple of years but hadn't used it.  I'm set to do a North Dakota hunt in December and figure I might need it there!  So this fall I have been using it some to get used to it.  I've had some days with temps in the 20's and windy.  So I dressed lighter than normal and took the suit.  It really is cozy!  And the more I used it the more comfortable I got with it.

I was concerned because it is so big and gives you a large profile in the tree.  I did have some deer close including a couple that looked up at me but then went on about their business.  So that part was encouraging.  Mine is a Predator camo pattern, and I think that really helps.

Unzipping and getting my bow didn't seem a problem at all.  So far, I've been very impressed with it.

I use mine any time temps are less than 50 or so, especially if there is wind.

It's really become a "must have" accessory for me. It allows me to sit all day, in comfort. I hate being cold.

I've come to believe that the "blob" outline it provides doesn't look like the 2 arms, 2 legs, and a head that deer associate with a human. It also has to suppress scent to some degree, as it's trapped inside the windproof bag...

I've been using sleeping bags for years maybe 20+, traded a bow for a military bag several years ago and modified it some. It has a thick bag and a liner bag I can use either and works out great, didn't cost crap is quiet and the deer never give me second look or the other bags I used for years.

Started using mine today after the clipper came in, when it gets in the 20's and lower I start using them. Killed a lot of deer over the years using mine.

I get cold easily and if I want to sit a long time, I wear it when it gets into the thirties.

They are a little bulky, but really comfy, esp. with the booties.

No way your feet are getting cold.

I used one for the first time this past weekend.  I was very impressed with it.  My SIL and granddaughter were in a heated stand near by.  My stand was unheated facing into a north wind. They both complained about their toes getting cold, I didn't even have on gloves for a good part of the afternoon. Very good product.

I would make sure I was tied in before trying to get into the body suit if in a tree stand. The only difficulty I had was my rubber soles boots hung up a little when trying to get them all the way into the bottom.

The more I use mine the more comfortable I am with it on in a tree.  As MnFn mentioned, make sure you are strapped in.  The right foot is a little tricky with big boots on.  The left foot has a zipper all the way to the bottom so that one is much easier.  Once you have it on it is very easy to stand, turn around, etc.

One thing that I did wrong at first was to just slip the shoulder straps on over each arm.  It works much better to cross them over the top of your head.  (Which they probably tell you in the instructions if you are inclined to read such things    :dunno:       )

I won't wear mine in a tree. Too clumsy for me, or perhaps I'm too clumsy for it. But, they are warm in a ground blind. Usually start wearing it when the temps are 15-20.

I got mine last week... I think I'm really going to like it. The lows are going to be down into the teens this weekend with 10-20 mph winds Hope to get some good use out of it.

Yesterday low 22 high 33. Wore it on a all day sit. I'll never layer up again! I was so warm dressed so light. It seems warm to wear it in those temps but factor in the wind plus I was in the shade all day.

Does anyone's heater body suit zipper slide down and your constantly putting it back up. I got tired of mine slipping so I sewed a large button up toward the collar. I then took a bungy string and looped it to my zipper pull. When I get ready, I wrap the bungy around the button. It works great. I tried to post pics but photobucket will not let me copy img on my iPad. I can send pics to anyone who is interested.
It was brutally cold Friday morning with the wind. I have a polar fleece vest with pockets sewed in the back. One over each kidney and one between the shoulder blades. I put the large body warmers in there and I am comfortable with minimal clothing. Shooting comfortably is what I like about it.

My zipper does that as all Tim. I hadn't thought of it as a problem since I want it to open easily when needed. But I'd love to see pictures of what you've done. Sounds like a good solution.
If you could email pics to me at ijlasch@gmail.com
I sure appreciate it.
