Title: Dryad Orion ACS limb question
Post by: MountainTool21 on November 09, 2014, 06:17:00 PM
For all you Dryad Orion ACS longbow shooters I have a few questions.
1) What is the difference between the 4G & CG limbs?
2) for 29.5" draw which length of limb would work best?
3) Will Dryad checker your grip?
4) overall performance?

Thank you
Andrew

x2

Email or call, always been very helpful.

I draw 29.5 and shoot acscx ILF longbow limbs, longs on a Morrison gen2 riser and extra longs on a 17" DAS master riser.

4G means glass belly and back, CG carbon back glass belly.

Limbs are very smooth, stable, quiet and quick.

Let's see if we can answer the questions for you.

1) What is the difference between the 4G & CG limbs? Well the 4G is no longer offered and the CG has morphed into the ACS-LB.  See the product announcement last week.

2) for 29.5" draw which length of limb would work best?  It depends on the riser length.  On a 17" riser I would recommend the XL limbs.

3) Will Dryad checker your grip?  Sorry we don't do checkering.

4) overall performance? These limbs will shoot with all but the very fastest recurves.  The new model is very stable and quiet.

Your going to like it! You should of took a couple of shots with mine the other day, would of given you a better idea of draw weight to order;-) I can't wait to check out the higher performance model limbs coming out after the first of the year.
