We have reworked our product line in the ACS longbow area. Previously we offered an all glass limb (4G) and a carbon / glass limb (CG). We redesigned the limb are now offering only the carbon/glass version under the name ACS-LB.
The reason for the new limb was the desire for vertical stability at lower brace heights. Most high performance longbow limbs on the market require a fairly high brace to get vertical stability. This always bothered us here at Dryad and we decided this summer to build a better mouse trap.
The new ACS-LB limb is that and more. Not only is it very stable at lower brace (as low as 6 ½" on the TAC 19) but it also produces the same high performance as the ACS-CG limb it replaces. We no longer build the CG and will substitute the new limb on all orders going out.
Also we are able to continue to offer this limb at the same price as the ACS-CG.
Keep your eyes open for an even higher performance version around the first of the year if all goes well with our testing.

I'd like to try the longbow limbs on this riser eventually; it actually feels more longbow-like than recurve-like, honestly. Those recurve limbs are bad fast, though. Don't think I've ever shot anything nearly as fast.
Paul,
You will really like the feel and performance of these limbs.

Michael...what does the team anticpate the new target brace height to be for the redesigned ACS-LB?
Scott,
I've run them on our risers at 7" and John tested the 19" Titan at 7 1/4.
Mike
Michael....thank you!
