I have the KME broadhead sharpener kit and figured it was a good product, since so many guys swear by it.
I used it a little, and wasn't getting hair shaving results like a lot of others said they were.
I am now.
I thought I needed different stones or something. Ron said "Oh really?" "Let's get your kit out and try it."
I spent maybe 15-20 minutes on the phone with Ron, and we sharpened a couple of heads right then.
He even listened thru the speaker and could tell when I was applying too much pressure.
There are a lot of good logical basics about sharpening that Ron will teach you.
There are also some tips he can tell you that will save you a bunch of time.
It really is a lot simpler than I thought, once you talk with Ron.
A super nice guy who told me, "you are not taking too much of my time here, I will spend as much as you need."
If you own one of his systems and are having trouble as I was, CALL HIM.
If you don't own one yet....get you one!
No doubt FIRST CLASS GUY with a FIRSTCLASS product!!!!

No other sharpener touches my broadheads other than my KME!
I have the knife sharpener because Ron said it would work better for my German Kinetic broadheads. It is a GREAT product and Ron is as good as gold!!!!!!!

I was very pleased and figured I owed him a testimonial.
He taught me stuff in a few minutes of conversation and hands on, that one just cannot ascertain from a video.
I think I have noticed you saying that you were sharpening challenged, Bisch.
Nice to be beyond that challenge now.
Yup! I own one!!!
Really hard to add to that other than I had the exact same experience a few years ago. Great guy, product, and service.
Thanks you very much Irv.
Like you and I discussed, sharpening is really 90% knowledge and only about 10% skill. The only thing either of my sharpeners are designed to do is maintain a consistent angle, which is one very important part of the process ...but there's a whole lot more to sharpening than just angle. :readit: Thanks again everyone,
Ron
Years ago I bought one of Ron's sharpeners, the one for broad-heads. I was so frustrated as I could not get any head close to hunting sharp. When I got his kit ... I was once again disappointed. In desperation I called him to find out how to improve this contraption. Ron spent about a half hour with me. I was unknowingly doing a few little things that led to big problems. When the phone call was over, my heads were dangerously sharp ... and I ordered his knife sharpener.
Ron has great products and is a great guy. My knives and broad-heads are now excellent tools with sharp clean edges. beaunaro, I am glad you though enough to call Ron. He is so helpful. Ron is a great guy.
