Hate that for you! I bet it was hard to bite your lip until you were clear of your hunting area.

It must be a lefty call,I had one of my trusted custom doing the same at full draw after 20 years of use and many games to its credit. Amen

Ouch!  Hurts just to look.

I have a 55# I bought new in about 1995.  Doesn't have that "Martin" decal, but that's probably not what caused it.  ;-)

Was the bow a new one?

I was thinking by the serial it may have been from 2008 or 2010.

A friend had a new DC that did the same thing about 5-6 years ago, but Martin replaced it promptly with a new one.  No problems since...

Update on this misfortune:

Martin Co. will replace bow (under Warranty), with a "Mamba",
per my request. I was informed that "Dreamcatchers" are no longer being produced.

Glad you were able to have it replaced.

I had one with the same issue. the bow was used no warranty.

Good info...gonna scratch on my hand:

"DO NOT BUY DREAMCATCHER"

But I'm glad Martin is going to send you a Mamba which should be a good one.

This is the replacement "Mamba".
Notice how the current riser is slimmed-down,
from previous years. Very handy!  (http://%20 [/IMG]

Sorry about your dreamcatcher but them Mambas shoot good and fast. Looks good especially with the skins.
