Title: Non resident PA license?
Post by: vintage-bears on October 19, 2014, 09:43:00 AM
Question
Been invited to hunt PA and need to buy license.
Do I just need to show my NY license and ID or is it more difficult?
I hope I don't need my bowhunters course certificate.
That was taken 30+ years ago.

Page 82 of the PA Hunting and Trapping digest clears it up. It looks like you will only have to show your NY license. Check it out on PGC's website. Happy Hunting!

Just hunting license and Driver ID helps.

Pa now does a drivers license swipe.  Unfortunately you will not get a doe tag at this point

Depending of course which WMU you are hunting. If 2B around the greater pittsburgh rural area, you can still buy them (doe tags), by the dozen I might add!

My lisc swipe has yet to work!   Both spring and fall, 3 years running.
