It's been a beautiful morning in the woods today. Got turned around something horrible before daybreak but finally got back on track to my stand. Climbed up around 7 and no sooner than I take a leak, a yearling button buck and doe come sneaking in.  Stood up and grabbed my bow in case mama was coming behind them but she wasn't. Gave the twins a pass and smiled while the picked apart my trail (deer dander on my boots). They hung around for a bit and drifted north towards a buddy's vacant stand. 8:00 rolls around and here comes more noise. Back to my feet and turns out to be about a dozen turkeys.  Luckily I picked up a tag from Diamond Archery last night.  Pick a bird, start to draw, everybody spooks! Swing to first opening to see if anybody's gonna stop and look back, bingo! Thump goes the string, flop goes a big hen. Sweet morning... Now if I can figure out why my photos won't upload to my usual bucket site....
