I have a few of what I consider the best bows available. One of those great bowyers is Steve Turay of Northern Mist.
A couple of months back I received a Classic from Steve that has yew cores and an ebony riser.
I draw it to 59 pounds.. Man, is it sweet! Shoots a fast clean arrow right where you're looking..
This evening I sat a stand on the bank of the river and right at dark nice boar came waltzing by. He was quartering away when I sunk a Zwickey Delta just behind his short ribs.. He ran and I heard him go down a short distance away then a couple of gurgles.. No need to wait on this one!

Is that a hog, or a small rhino?
Good shooting, as usual!
That's a dandy!
Great Job!!! That's a big pig! Where did you hit it?
Pat, you're quite the hunter. Nice job. Nice bow, as well.

WOW!!! What a hog!!!
I agree Pat, some darn good bows being built these days...the hard part is choosing which one...I'm partial to Steve's bows as well :D
Man, that hog is a bruiser!
Well done once again...
Congrats on a brute of a hog! I agree with the bowyer comment. BigJim builds an outstanding recurve that just may have me converted.
Hog master
Nice boar sir...
,,,,Sam,,,,
Nice one Pat!
:archer:
Pat, seems like you have found another monster hog. Good work, mother earth thanks you. Yeah his bows are sweat.
Congrats again Pat :clapper:
Bill
Now that's a Pig! Nice job!
I appreciate the message in your post of the great bowyers that this country has to offer. This revitalized passion over the last 20 years for traditional archery was paid for by American bowyers working 2 full time jobs to pay the bills and fulfill a passion. We hear very often about people's new offshore bow that shoots just like a "your favorite bow", but this is an American thing that has spread worldwide. Buy your next new or used bow "made in the USA" Mike Pyeatt
great shoot !
Congrats Pat....that's a monster pig!
Wow.....nice one! I agree on the Northern Mist bows, Steve makes a nice one. I have 2 Whispers.
As always, great job Pat!
We are blessed with a lot of great Bowyers.
Seams almost every state has a few local Bowyers who are out of the lime lite, Butt are great Bowyers all the same....
Wow Pat. Congratulations on you're first hog!

The hog killer speaks! Nice job Pat.

When they're that big we call them Hawgs. Very nice. I agree with you. After 100+ bows my very favorite is my 70" Northern Mist Classic. Fits me like a glove. Good shooting!
Yes sir Pat there are many fine bowyers out there so many that I have a hard time picking the next one to give a try.
Congrats on another nice hog!!!! :archer2:
Real nice porky.  Too many bows and no time to shoot them all.
I agree Pat, I have some amazing works of art from guys around our country that perform like a compound (if you do your part).
Oh yeah and that's a dandy hog by the way Brother, congrats!
Congrats Pat... Steve makes some of the best bows going. My Shelton is my favorite bow of all.
  :archer:
Yes we do have some great bowyers but when you have the "Pig Master" behind it, it makes for a better bow. Congrats Pat!

Steve Turay is one of the good ones for sure. He's a top notch person as well.
Nice post! Fine American crafted bows and locally bred porkers! What a combo! Good work once again Pat!
Dead ringer on the remark about our bowyers and the pig. Congrats Pat.
Way to go Pat!
