Post by: MJB on September 28, 2007, 03:44:00 PM
Well  Thanks to everyone  on this forum for there information/advice that they have shared with me. Tomorrows the big day. This will be my first Trad year hunting with a recurve. I wouldn't have it any other way. Bear Kodiak,  46 @ 29", Magnus Stingers 125 gr, 30" 2016 20yds >------>

MJB, good luck on your first year.

Good shootin there, that ought to do the trick. Now all you have to do is get close, keep the wind in your favor, and hope they give you a shot. I'll be out in Maryland tomorrow.

Hatrick,
Thanks, I feel real comfortable shooting this bow/setup. I have a heavier Peregrine recurve #56@29 but just don't feel that confident when shooting it (weight wise). I shot the Bear allot this Summer and it feels real good.

Thanks to all and good luck & be SAFE.. >------>

Well, I saw about 6 deer (too far), 1 red fox (real close) and about a gillion squirrels (that's a little less than a million). All in all, a good day.

White oaks dropped plenty of acorns this year. Looking forward to next Saturday.
