Title: Identify This Bow
Post by: Valkyrie on October 12, 2014, 09:31:00 PM
It has no markings or label whatsoever.  Its 60" and draws about #40lbs.  No limb tip adornments either.  It belonged to my grandfather and I original;y believed it to be a Wing Archery model of some sort.  But the grip profile seems different.  I know it is at lest as old as me, 43.

It was scruffed up and I am refinishig it now.  Looks like maple and black glass laminate.

Hmmm, I notice you are from PA, very good chance it could be a blackhawk bow, made in East Mckeesport, PA near Pittsburgh I think. The Bee has a very similar riser and grip shape, although I thought it was 62", however they did have a model called the short bee, not sure how long that was. Hope that helps, you can google blackhawk bee and see pics for comparison
