I like the older style recurves. I have an AS Kadiak, have a couple '57 bears, ect. this is a recent acquisition, a Kohannah Kurve.

Funny you should mention that... I was just kicking myself for selling my Boss 'curve.
I have an old Damon Howatt hunter that I got from a Gang member. Its one of the ooooold ones. One of my best shooting recurves. The grip fits my hand far better than the newer Martins with small tips. I'll add pics later.
That looks like a keeper John.
I got lucky, my first 'curve is a Red Wing Hunter circa 1965-68. Not sure of the date because so many records were lost in a fire.

58" 50# @ 28
Yep, gotta love the 50's recurves or 50's style (modern made) recurves.
I own a '58 Pearson Bushmaster that is a joy to shoot. Theres definitly something special about those older bows.
I love those old wings! Even thought i hunt with a Hill 99% of the time.
I always thought I'd like one. Traded for a Little Bighorn a few years back and can't get used to it. It's my only Bighorn that never leaves the rack now.
I have a Kurve too John. It is a great shooting, great looking bow. I originally bought it for a son, but because of it's light pull weight I used it for some target shooting.

This was the first tradbow I bought. I agree completely!
SCATTERSHOT , How's it going. That was a good Boss recurve I bought from you but it was just too heavy for me so I traded it for hybrid longbow with lighter weight. Wish it had been lighter #
Billy, did you get a pass-through on the chipmunk?
Hey, Dave. Sorry it was too heavy. It was a good bow. Glad you got something you could shoot.
Best,
Gene
John, No - on the pass thru...but i did get to see where all the wife's sunflower seeds were temporarily being stored!
It's hard to sharpen those rubber bludgeons though.... :bigsmyl: ;)
I use an old 50's herters 'curve.
just shot a doe tonight with a 1969 Bear Kodiak hunter.
Rick

Funny you brought this up, John. I've been eyeballing a Great Northern Ghost for a while now....
